WhatYou’ll Be Doing
As a Finance Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our Accounts Payable (AP) function. You’ll gain valuable experience across multiple areas of finance, learning how to manage supplier relationships, process transactions, and maintain financial accuracy.
Your responsibilities will include:- Accurately posting transactions on time across all entities, including invoices, credit notes, corrections, and supplier payments
- Assisting with day-to‑day finance duties to ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g. AP corrections, AP accruals)
- Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and meeting agreed SLAs
- Reconciling supplier accounts to prevent disruption to services or goods
- Supporting the preparation of all third‑party payments
You will also have the opportunity to support wider finance projects and audits, gaining hands‑on experience that will set you up for future success.
What We’re Looking For- Confident with numbers and has great attention to detail
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- A strong communicator who enjoys problem‑solving
- Enthusiastic about learning and developing a long‑term career in finance
Previous experience in Accounts Payable or finance would be an advantage but is not essential for the apprenticeship.

5 GCSEs 9-4 (A-C) including Maths and English
A Level or equivalent in Maths or Finance or AAT Level 2
37.25 hours per week
8.00am to 4.00pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm with ½ hour unpaid lunch
