A specialist coatings manufacturer is looking to bring in an experienced Continuous Improvement/Process Engineer to help drive efficiency, quality, and performance across a complex manufacturing operation.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a highly regulated, engineering-led environment and enjoys getting hands‑on with processes to reduce waste, scrap, and cost while improving consistency and throughput.

You’ll be responsible for leading and delivering continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, including:

• Driving lean and CI projects to reduce waste, scrap, and operational cost
• Improving manufacturing processes, procedures, and standard ways of working
• Supporting problem‑solving activity using structured engineering methodologies
• Applying lean tools and Six Sigma principles to real, shop‑floor challenges

• Proven experience in a similar CI / process improvement role within manufacturing
• Background in a highly regulated industry (automotive, aerospace, nuclear, rail, etc.)
• Strong engineering, process, and problem‑solving mindset – able to understand complex processes quickly
• Lean / Continuous Improvement experience
  , ideally with a Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
• Exposure to robot / ABB programming, CNC programming, or coatings would be advantageous
