Senior Dev Ops Engineer - AWS - Nottingham - £75,000, Hybrid

I'm working with a rapidly growing tech company in Nottingham that is looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join its small, growing Dev Ops team.

This isn't your typical "tick the boxes" Dev Ops role.

As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer, you'll need solid AWS and Terraform experience - and I mean proper, deep, multi-account and multi-region AWS knowledge. But what really matters here is your ability to ask the right questions, pick things up quickly, and work collaboratively with the wider engineering team to translate application requirements into secure, scalable infrastructure.

• Building, extending, and refactoring Terraform modules
• Designing and deploying architecture for new and existing .NET products
• Integrating infrastructure into Git Lab CI/CD pipelines
• Working across a broad range of AWS services - ECS/Fargate, RDS, Elasti Cache, SQS/SNS, Cloud Front, Cognito, and more - always with security best practices and cost optimisation front of mind

• 5+ years hands‑on Dev Ops experience
• Expert‑level Terraform skills, including module design and state management
• CI/CD pipeline experience, ideally Git Lab
• Deep understanding of AWS networking, security, and IAM
• Full UK working rights (no sponsorship available)

You will be working in a high-tech facility in Nottingham, where you will be based 3 days per week.

Salary is up to £75,000 + Benefits.
