We have an exciting opportunity at one of our clients for a Maintained Static Load Test Engineer to join our growing team, working with industry-leading TITAN automated pile testing equipment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with site experience who is looking to develop specialist skills, gain additional HGV qualifications, and build a long-term career within a supportive and forward-thinking company.

You’ll be based at their Nottingham office and travel to sites across the UK in one of their specialist HGV fleet vehicles, fitted with a lorry‑mounted crane used for independent reaction frame erection.

What You Need To Know
  • Assignment rates starting from £18 per hour
  • Overtime paid daily at a rate of £27 per hour
  • £25 night out allowance
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Monday to Friday (Potential nights out required)
  • 07:30am starts
What You Can Expect

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Undertaking static load testing on construction sites
  • Driving an HGV vehicle to and from sites
  • Erecting test equipment using a lorry‑mounted crane
  • Operating automated TITAN pile testing equipment
  • Liaising with site agents to review drawings and confirm test piles
  • Coordinating with the NDT office and authorised test controller to commence testing
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous site experience
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, including regular overnight stays
Desirable
  • CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
