Job Type: Contract

Location: Nottingham (5 days a week on-site)

SC Cleared Infrastructure Engineer - Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee core on-premises infrastructure and services in line with industry best practices, KPIs, and the full product lifecycle.
• Provide specialist technical support across BAU and project work, ensuring delivery of functional and non-functional requirements and continual service improvement.
• Provide 1st–3rd line BAU support, working with internal teams and third-party vendors to maintain, support, and continuously improve live products and services
• Contribute to overall service management, including workforce planning, budgeting, technology roadmaps, capacity planning, and project delivery
• Manage and respond to incidents and problems, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs and consistent service capability

SC Cleared Infrastructure Engineer - Required Experience

• Active SC Clearance
• Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 10/11
• VMware vSphere / Horizon
• Active Directory, Group Policy
• Solid understanding of ITIL-based service management and operations, including request fulfilment, incident, problem, change management, and service transition.
• Networking fundamentals (VLANs, VPNs, ACLs, TCP/IP) - nice to have
