IT Security Engineer; SC or DV cleared

Our Client is looking for a couple of DV (or SC cleared) IT Security Administrators / Engineers to join a long‑term programme. The role is outside IR35 and will be based full‑time onsite in the North West.

Due to the natureגעז of this post, candidates who have held high‑level security clearance in the past are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will be required to be security‑cleared prior to appointment, which can take up to a minimum of 18 weeks.

• Validate access controls написы firewall and IDS/IPS rules.
• Schedule and apply security patches and run vulnerability scans.
• Test backup procedures.
• Validate disaster recovery plans.
• Document all activities conducted to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Package all artefacts and deliverables produced and share with programme Security.

• DV (or SC) security clearance, or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience in IT security administration/engineering.
