Sales Engineer

We are looking for a sales specialist with a good knowledge of electrical and/or manufacturing engineering for a long-established, financially secure, successful manufacturer and distributor. They sell a wide variety of industrial products through a branch structure. Year on year profitability has resulted in further expansion and this is one of several new positions created by their success. This role will be to lead sales in Greater Manchester (to depend on your own location) for the company who already have a considerable customer base in the area.

This will NOT be a role for someone who needs the scrutiny of reporting call plans and hitting monthly targets. But it does require someone who understands the importance of building long-term relationships based on knowledge, honesty, reliability, and backed up by the delivery of first-class technical support and customer service. The product areas could be one or more of the following: automation, sensors, safety, power distribution and hazardous area, depending on where your own experience has been gained.

Where there are gaps in your knowledge base these can be acquired through training and internal technical support.
