We are currently recruiting for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a thriving team of ground investigation engineers at a head office located in Derby. As a successful candidate, you will play a critical role in the design, supervision, and management of site investigations, interpretative reporting, and mentorship of team members. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Geotechnical Engineer role:

• Leading the design, supervision, and management of site investigations
• Preparation of interpretative reports and earthworks specifications
• Mentoring and managing team members
• Assisting in the collation of all project Health & Safety Documentation

Qualifications / Experience / Skills required to be considered for the Senior Geotechnical Engineer role:

• A degree in one of the Earth Sciences, ideally with an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar
• Hands-on experience in a ground investigation role within the UK
• Proficiency in geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design
• Membership in the Geological Society (or similar) and working towards chartered status
• Full UK Driving License is essential
• Live in or near to Nottingham
• Full right to work in the UK
