Development Engineer
Join a well‑established residential developer as a Development Engineer
, playing a vital role in shaping successful housing projects. You’ll be the technical expert guiding developments from land acquisition through adoption, ensuring smooth delivery and compliance every step of the way.
- Manage tenders for road and sewer works, oversee Section 38, 104 and 278 Agreements, and coordinate site investigations and reports on flood risk, ecology and transport.
- Review technical and legal documentation to spot risks and abnormal costs, working closely with consultants, contractors and local authorities to keep projects on track.
- Support land acquisitions and feasibility studies, prepare contract and compliance documentation, and help discharge planning and NHBC conditions.
- Motivated, collaborative person eager to learn and able to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and solid grasp of roads, sewers and SUDS requirements.
- AutoCAD experience is a plus.
