We are looking for Hydrogeologists at all levels to add to our Ground and Water Team in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our industry‑leading contaminant hydrogeology team with direct mentoring and career development from the hydro geologists that develop and maintain the UK industry standard software Con Sim and Land Sim.

The successful candidates will play a key role in the day‑to‑day delivery of projects working closely with and being supported by other team members, Project Managers and Directors within the UK team. Technical work will include developing conceptual models, interpretation of hydrogeological and geological data, developing source‑pathway‑receiver linkages and risk assessment modelling to support the preparation of hydrogeological risk assessments and detailed quantitative risk assessments for contaminated land and landfill.
Yourresponsibilities
- Managing hydrogeological data and developing conceptual models and interpretation of data.
- Developing hydrogeological conceptual models.
- Use and learn software such as Con Sim, Land Sim, P20, FeFlow, Modflow, Seep/W.
- Undertaking / performing project tasks assigned by senior people in the team.
- Preparing factual and interpretive reports under supervision of the senior team.
- Communicating and liaising effectively and efficiently with the project team (team members, project managers and directors).
- Involved in hydrogeological risk assessment, dewatering, groundwater resource, pumping tests, yield tests, modelling, borehole prognosis, abstraction, and geothermal.
- Hydrogeological skills of managing data and preparing evidence‑backed conceptual models (in consultancy or in any other relevant industrial or regulatory profession).
- Demonstrable experience of the preparation of factual and interpretive reports as contributing author. Where possible evidence of reporting competency should be provided.
- Risk Assessment modelling using Con Sim, RTM and Land Sim.
- Working towards chartership.
- A motivated and engaging team player able to contribute collaboratively to the technical and social strength of our team of hydro geologists.
- Working in environmental consulting and able to evidence direct experience in contaminant hydrogeology.
- A postgraduate qualification (MTech, MSc or PhD) in hydrogeology or a hydrogeological discipline.
