• Lead and manage projects to restore properties damaged by insured perils, with values ranging from £50k to £5m.
• Work alone or lead a small team of QSs, CAD technicians and engineers.
• Deliver technical reporting, defect diagnosis, prepare Schedules of Works, contract administration and project management.
• Empathise with clients who have suffered loss or bereavement and deliver professional reports within tight deadlines.
• Manage workloads and make reasoned decisions under pressure.

• A full UK Driving Licence – essential to travel by car.
• Excellent communication skills – able to speak with and write to policyholders, insurers, contractors and more.
• Extensive knowledge of building construction and relevant legislation.
• Chartered status (or working towards this qualification). MRICS or MCIOB preferred, and as a minimum actively working towards Chartered status.
