Examination Invigilators – Casual
We are currently looking for flexible, well‑organised individuals to join our team of Examination Invigilators to work on a casual basis throughout the year.
We are looking for invigilators to work across the college group at our Watford campus, Hemel Hempstead campus and Barnfield College in Luton. Experience is not essential as full training will be given.
The key focus of this position is to supervise examination invigilation and ensure that guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of examination papers and procedures are followed during an examination session.
Candidates must be well‑organised, confident in dealing with young people and able to remain calm under pressure.
Training- Monday 20th April: 10:00‑11:30 am – Watford Campus
- Monday 20th April: 2:00‑3:30 pm – Hemel Campus
- Tuesday 21st April: 10:00‑11:30 am – Luton Campus
All successful applicants must attend one of the above mandatory in‑person training sessions. Training can be attended at any of the three campuses regardless of where you are available to invigilate.
You must also complete three modules on the Exams Office before your first scheduled day of invigilation. Your account details will be provided once you are onboarded.
AvailabilityThe following five GCSE dates will require you to be available:
- Thursday 14th May 2026 – Maths Paper 1
- Thursday 21st May 2026 – English Paper 1
- Wednesday 3rd June 2026 – Maths Paper 2
- Friday 5th June 2026 – English Paper 2
- Wednesday 10th June 2026 – Maths Paper 3
For GCSE exams we require you to be on site from 08:30 am.
