Educational Psychologist – SEN School
Location: Nottingham
Contract: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible)
Pay: Dependent on experience (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)

Are you an Educational Psychologist who is driven by curiosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to help every child succeed?
We’re supporting a forward-thinking SEN school in Nottingham seeking a dedicated Educational Psychologist to join their specialist team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in collaborative environments and is passionate about understanding how children learn, think, and thrive — particularly those with autism, SEMH needs, learning difficulties, and complex profiles.
What you’ll be doing :- Carrying out psychological assessments to understand pupils’ learning, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Contributing to EHCP assessments, reviews, and recommendations
- Working closely with school staff, therapists, and families to develop effective support strategies
- Providing consultation, training, and guidance to staff around learning and behaviour approaches
- Supporting interventions that promote wellbeing, engagement, and positive outcomes
- Doctorate in Educational Psychology and HCPC registration
- Experience working with children and young people with SEN
- Strong assessment, consultation, and report‑writing skills
- A reflective, empathetic, and solution‑focused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Weekly PAYE pay (no umbrella companies)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
