Position: Behaviour Support AssistantEDV/2026/TCSVA/40913

Working with the Inclusion Coordinator, Mental Health Lead, SENCO and Heads of Year, you will assist with day to day pastoral support as a key worker for identified students. You will devise and deliver interventions to support students with social, emotional, behaviour and/or mental health needs.

You Will
  • Work 19.5 hours per week, 6.5 hours per day on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday on a term‑time only basis.
  • Play a role in fostering students' well‑being and academic success.
  • Work closely with Head of Year, senior leader, and external agencies.
  • Design and implement tailored support programmes to improve behaviour, attitudes and engagement.
  • Develop one‑to‑one mentoring relationships and group interventions to support students' learning and personal development.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and families to address individual needs and enhance social and emotional well‑being.
  • Assist with the smooth transition of students at key stages in their educational journey.
  • Maintain accurate records, including safeguarding‑related actions, and uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
