A secondary school in Nottingham is seeking an experienced Teacher of English to cover a longer-term sickness absence from after the Easter break (13th April) through to the end of the academic year. This is a full teaching role and requires an established QTS teacher confident working with mixed‑ability KS3 classes.

• Teach English to Years 8 and 9
• Take responsibility for a Year 10 tutor group
• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons
• Mark and assess student work
• Maintain clear routines and positive behaviour management
• Work collaboratively within the English department

• QTS (essential)
• Proven experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
• Confident teaching mixed‑ability KS3 groups
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Able to commit full‑time until the end of the academic year
