Teaching Assistant
with experience supporting students with
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The Endeavour Multi Academy Trust provides education for students from
Key Stage 3 through to Post-16
, catering to a diverse range of needs including:
- Moderate and complex learning difficulties
- Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Physical disabilities
- Speech, language, and communication needs

We are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant who can make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
- Support students across Key Stage 3–Post-16 with a variety of SEND needs
- Build positive relationships and act as a strong, consistent presence in the classroom
- Confidently manage and de‑escalate behavioural situations
- Work both independently and collaboratively with teaching staff
- Assist with personal care when required
- Help deliver a creative, inclusive and engaging curriculum
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Teaching Assistance, or a relevant field (Level 3 desirable)
- Have recent experience supporting students with SEND in a UK school setting
- Possess a sound understanding of the curriculum and inclusive teaching strategies
- Be able to provide two professional references covering at least the last two years (one must reference your work with children)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through Smile Education
- Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement
