Secondary Cover Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organized Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Warrington. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in classrooms, managing pupils, and ensuring lessons run smoothly in the teacher’s absence.

• Supervise classes when teachers are absent
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and support learning activities
• Maintain classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment
• Monitor and report pupil progress and behaviour
• Support pupils with additional needs when required
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

• Confident managing groups of pupils aged 11–16
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Reliable, organized, and proactive
• Experience in a school or working with children (preferred but not essential)
• Understanding safeguarding responsibilities (training can be provided)
• Ability to commute to Bolton
