Behaviour focused SEN Teaching Assistant Primary High needs ASD.

PK Education is working closely with a welcoming but high‑needs primary school seeking a confident and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism and complex behavioural needs.

This role would suit someone who thrives in high‑SEND environments and understands the importance of consistency, especially within smaller school settings.

This is a long‑term opportunity in a school where SEND support is central to daily provision.

• Supporting pupils with ECHP s.
• Working with children diagnosed with ASD (including high sensory and behavioural needs).
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
• Working closely with class teachers and SENCO.

• Experience supporting ASD in a primary setting.
• Confident managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently.
• Strong understanding of routine, structure and regulation strategies.
• Team Teach trained (or willing to undertake training).

• Competitive rates of pay from £100 - £110 per day (AWR compliant)
• On the job training provided by the school
