SEND Teaching Assistant - Rochdale

Full-Time | Immediate Start | Contract Until July 2026 | £90-£110 per day

Here at Aspire People, we are excited to be working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Rochdale who are seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This role is available to start immediately and will run through until July 2026, offering stability and the opportunity to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs in a mainstream classroom
• Assist in delivering personalised learning plans
• Support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or communication needs
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider SEND team

• Has experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting
• Is calm, patient and resilient
• Can adapt learning approaches to suit individual needs
• Builds positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is happy to obtain one)

• Daily pay between £90-£110, depending on experience
