Smile Education are proud to be working in partnership with Endeavour Multi Academy Trust to recruit several Level 3 Teaching Assistants for one of their Secondary Special Schools based in Tamworth
.

The school is a generic special school for pupils aged 11–19 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). It provides a nurturing and structured environment where students with a range of additional needs are supported to develop independence, confidence and essential life skills.

• Support students of secondary age (11–19)
• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Confidently support students with a range of additional needs
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour calmly and effectively
• Promote independence, resilience and positive engagement
• Get fully involved in school life and enrichment activities
• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated staff team
• Be a positive role model with a proactive, “can-do” attitude

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Recent UK school‑based experience
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs
  
  Confidence working with secondary‑aged students
• Ability to commit full‑time on a long‑term basis
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to provide references covering the last 2 years
• Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
