Location: Crawley & Surrounding Areas

Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time – Flexible Days

Daily Rate: £89.05 – £110

Hours: School hours (typically 08:30–15:30)

Do you have a calm, patient approach and a passion for helping young people succeed? As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students who need additional guidance, helping them stay engaged, focused, and confident in the classroom.

We’re looking for dedicated, resilient individuals to join our team across Crawley and nearby areas. Whether you’re seeking full‑time work or flexible day‑to‑day placements, we’ll match you with schools where your support can make a genuine difference.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting students with behavioural, emotional, or social needs
  • Helping pupils stay on task and regulating behaviour in and out of class
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with students
  • Working one‑to‑one or with small groups to encourage engagement
  • Assisting teachers with behaviour strategies and classroom routines
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Following school policies and working closely with pastoral and SEN teams
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, or care experience is a bonus)
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and motivate students
  • Adaptable, reliable, and confident working in different school settings
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
