English Teacher – Maternity Cover (May 2026 – May 2027) BS25 Secondary School
Protocol Education is supporting a well-regarded BS25 secondary school with the recruitment of an English Teacher for maternity cover from May 2026 to May 2027.
This is a full teaching role across KS3 and KS4, including planning, marking and assessment. You’ll be joining a structured, ambitious school where behaviour systems are clear and expectations are high.

The RoleYou will:
- Teach English across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons
- Mark and assess in line with departmental policy
- Track pupil progress and support intervention where needed
- Contribute to departmental meetings and CPD

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
