Job Description
Role: Teaching Assistant
Hours: Flexible options - Full-time, part-time, and day-to-day cover available
Location: Nottingham
Pay: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: Positions available from January 2026
Responsibilities: Supporting the early development of young children, assisting the lead teacher with planning and implementing engaging and nurturing activities, creating a safe and inclusive environment, building positive relationships with children, parents and staff, maintaining child observation records, and ensuring a supportive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications and
Experience:
Experience working with children from birth to five, strong knowledge of early childhood development, excellent communication skills, a warm and caring approach, ability to build positive relationships, flexibility, reliability, and a genuine commitment to supporting each child's progress. Statutory guidance compliance including DBS and references is required.
