Breakfast & After school Club Assistant (Wraparound Care)

Required from 23rd February 2026

Part-time 17 hours per week / Term time only / Permanent

Salary grade A point 2 (FTE £24,413.00 per annum)

£9,647.75 actual salary per annum

Sneinton St. Stephen’s C of E Primary School is seeking a friendly, reliable, and committed Breakfast and After school Club Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team. Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting the delivery of safe, creative and appropriate play activities.
  • To ensure that all activities are carried out within the equal opportunities’ framework.
  • To support the full care of the children including dismissing the children to their parents/carers.
  • Ensure acceptable standards of behaviour are maintained.
  • Assist in setting up and tidying away play/activity equipment.
  • To encourage children to eat a substantial snack, whilst encouraging correct etiquette.
  • Administering basic first aid and recording incidents in the first aid book as appropriate and provide written correspondence to the parent/carer.
  • Maintaining the After School Club to an agreed standard of cleanliness and hygiene, before, during and at the end of each session, and complying with all Health and Safety requirements.

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
