About the PE DepartmentOur goal is for every pupil to develop a lifelong love of Physical Education. We focus on building confidence, problem‑solving, strategic thinking, teamwork, resilience, and leadership through varied, real‑life opportunities that also support pupils in other subjects such as science and health education.
Responsibilities- Deliver a high‑quality, inclusive PE curriculum to pupils of all abilities.
- Promote health, well‑being, and life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and leadership.
- Build pupils’ confidence, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking through varied, real‑life contexts.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to embed physical activity across the curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
- Qualified teacher with a passion for excellence in PE.
- Experience of teaching in a secondary school is desirable.
- Early Career Teacher (ECT) status is acceptable for the right candidate.
- Strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusivity, and student well‑being.
