Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish/French)

Full Time Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

Required for either an April 2026 or September 2026 start

We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish and French.

The focus at Park Vale Academy is on outstanding achievement for every student through maintaining a culture of extremely high expectations in relation to student conduct and attitudes. Consequently, academic results have improved significantly since the school re-opened in 2016 and the last OFSTED inspection (2024) graded the school as good in every category.

• Teach full range of ability 11-16
• Maintain high standards of discipline
• Use a range of strategies to promote learning
• Manage and encourage good behaviour
• Develop positive and meaningful relationships with students
• Make appropriate use of ICT for learning
• Understand how to use data to inform planning and improve students’ performance
• Understand a range of assessment for learning approaches, including grades where appropriate
• Communicate with students, parents and carers about pupil’s progress

Park Vale Academy is part of Redhill Academy Trust.
