Teacher Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Implement effective strategies to support students in their learning and personal development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages students’ confidence and growth.
  • Work closely with the SENCo and other staff members to support the delivery of personalised learning plans.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians to update them on progress and address any concerns.
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development, and school activities as required.
SEN Teacher Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent sidistr and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
  • A team-oriented approach and flexibility to work collaboratively.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development in SEN education.
