Pay: £475-£550 per week, depending on experience

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an EYFS teaching assistant, who is experienced supporting challenging behaviour, to join a primary pupil referral unit in Withington. The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).

• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, offering both academic and emotional mentoring
• Collaborating with class teachers and external agencies to monitor progress
• Effectively managing and de-escalating behaviour

• Level 2 Team Teach training, or willing to attend a course
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
• Experience supporting SEMH within a classroom setting, or care setting

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
