Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Long Term Futures are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school based in the NG9 area of Nottingham. This successful school, which supports students aged 11-18, is recognised for its focus on academic progress, strong pastoral care and inclusive values.

Your Role Will Include:

• Supporting students on a 1-1 basis and in small groups, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN)

• Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to adapt lesson resources and learning activities

• Building positive working relationships with students to increase confidence and participation in learning

• Helping maintain a calm, respectful and engaging classroom atmosphere

• Encouraging students to remain focused and supporting them with positive behaviour strategies

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has at least 6 months or more of experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant

• Feels confident supporting students with additional learning needs or behavioural requirements

• Is a strong communicator and enjoys working as part of a school team

• Holds a current DBS (or is willing to apply) and can provide two suitable professional references
