Cover Supervisor – Secondary School

We’re looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates or anyone with a strong can‑do attitude who wants to make a difference in education.

What you’ll be doing
  • Supervise students in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring a calm, productive learning environment.
  • Support pupils consistently while responding to their individual needs.
  • Manage student behaviour, maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere.
  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.
Essential Qualifications
  • Experience working with young people aged 11–16 in a school, youth work, or similar environment.
  • Minimum of Grade C / Level 4 or above in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant.
