Head of Faculty – Health & Social Care

We’re seeking an experienced, innovative, and dynamic senior leader to join our Curriculum Leadership Team as Head of Faculty for Health & Social Care. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for driving excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment across a large, diverse curriculum area.

You will lead and inspire a high-performing team to deliver outstanding provision across a broad range of programmes, including pre‑16, entry level, further education, adult provision, and apprenticeships. Working closely with senior leaders you will provide strategic direction, oversee curriculum development and innovation, and ensure provision meets the needs of learners, employers, and key stakeholders.

A core focus of the role is improving quality and outcomes, supporting learner progression, and strengthening employability and progression pathways. You will collaborate across curriculum areas and support services to enhance the overall learner experience.

We are looking for a proven leader with strong people and performance management skills, the ability to drive continuous improvement, and a passion for curriculum innovation. Experience leading large teams and delivering positive outcomes for learners is essential.

Salary: £45,458 – £49,250 per annum (FTE)
