Overview
We are looking for a Consultant Obstetrician to join our tertiary hospital team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Key Clinical Responsibilities- Consultant labour suite cover and ward rounds.
- Elective caesarean lists and assessment unit cover.
- Maternity triage and antenatal clinic cover.
- Support complex gynaecology as part of a two‑tier on‑call rota.
Clinical sessions are detailed in the draft Job Plan embedded in the Job Specification. Schedules may be amended by discussion prior to commencement.
Part‑Time OptionConsultants unable to work full‑time may be considered for part‑time appointments, with job content modification discussed on a personal basis.
Base and On‑Call LocationBase for emergency obstetrics is the City campus. The two‑tier gynaecology on‑call consultant rota covers emergency gynaecology at the QMC campus and complex surgery oncological support.
