The Vet Office is supporting the recruitment of a confident and competent Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established small animal practice in Nottingham
.

This role would suit a vet with a strong interest in soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics
, who is comfortable taking responsibility, enjoys clinical autonomy, and is keen to help develop and drive an existing caseload.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role within the veterinary team, supporting both clinical activity and caseload development. The position will include:

  • mix of consultations and surgical procedures
  • Strong focus on soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics
  • Responsibility for case continuity and follow-ups
  • Sole charge during evenings and weekends
  • Supporting and contributing to the ongoing development of the practices surgical caseload
Candidate Profile
  • Veterinary degree recognised in the UK and RCVS registration
  • Minimum of 3 years UK clinical experience
    , with a strong surgical component
  • Confident in soft tissue surgery and comfortable with orthopaedic cases
  • Capable of working independently during sole-charge periods
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach
  • Professional, proactive, and committed to high clinical standards
