We are looking to recruit a salaried GP to provide between 4 and 8 sessions per week.

The ideal candidate will provide a full range of GMS and additional enhanced services where appropriate. Seeing patients face-to-face, telephone consultations and triaging.

We are a semi-rural practice serving a patient population of over 18,500. Our clinical team includes GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, FCP and Paramedic and a strong Nursing Team. We are a training practice and open to new ideas and fresh approaches to clinical care. We are fortunate to have an excellent clinical and administrative Team. We work closely with our community teams supporting care in the community and prevention of hospital admissions.

We operate from 2 sites (just 91 yards apart) and we use Systm One.

To provide a full range of GMS and additional enhanced services where appropriate.

To undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations,telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence as the role dictates.

• GMC registered, MBBS or equivalent, MRCGP, inclusion on Performers List

• Worked in a GP practice, I.T. literate, familiar with clinical systems.
• Working in primary care in an area with significant health problems, EPS prescribing.

• Good communication on all levels, good interpersonal skills, ability to work on own initiative, ability to work as part of a team, patient sensitive, full UK driving licence and use of a car.
