About the Role
This job is a perfect fit for a student, someone working 9-5 or anyone looking for some extra cash. It is a very independent position. You will be the only photographer at the venue so you will be required to manage your own work, however full training will be provided prior to start. You will also benefit from our knowledgeable network and designated point of contact in case you will need any assistance.
The usual working hours are 11pm-2am Fridays and Saturdays rewarded at £60 per shift, with occasional extra work available outside of those nights. This role may require you to work additional nights for special events such as Bank Holiday Sundays, A Level results night, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve. The job its self is very straight forward and does not require in-depth knowledge of the photography or the events industry.
You will be required to take photos of customers (mostly group shots) at a nightclub or a bar, ensuring that the photos meet the quality criteria. After your shift, you will need to process the photos and upload them to our server by 5PM the next day.
We have a fascinating opportunity for a Nightclub Photographer to join the team at our customer's busy venue in High Wycombe town centre. While the nightlife photography experience is not essential as training will be provided, we expect candidates to be confident in using their equipment. It is a really exciting role, which not only enables you to earn extra money doing what you enjoy, but is also fun and allows you to socialise!
There is absolutely NO selling involved and the pay is NOT commission based.
- Be self‑motivated, committed and able to work with a minimal supervision
- Have a full frame DSLR or mirrorless camera, wide‑angle lens and an external flashgun (candidates with cropped sensor cameras will be considered if they have a strong portfolio)
- Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom Classic is desirable, although training will be provided
- Previous experience in the nightclub photography is desired but not essential
- Candidates based in locations other than specified above will be required to have a valid driving licence and their own car as public transport is unlikely to be available during hours specified
- Photography: 1 year (preferred)
