Our Client are a well respected main contractor looking for a Quantity Surveyor following successfully winning a £5million cut & carve project of a high end retail space on the South Coast. They are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to commercially oversee the project from the initial procurement stages through to final account. Future work will be in the Surrey / Hampshire region.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
- Monitor project costs and manage cash flow forecasts
- Conduct tender evaluations and contract negotiations
- Administer contracts and manage variations and claims
- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
- Provide financial reporting to senior management
- Identify and manage commercial risks
