Hours of Employment: Full time: contracted 174 hours per month, sleep in duties: 23:00 - 07:00 (3-week rolling rota) Benefits:

Job Summary:
As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people residing in our residential facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being, safety, and development of the children, while creating a nurturing and homely environment. Working as part of a team, you will build positive relationships, implement care plans, and facilitate engaging activities to promote their growth and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications/Skills/Experience Person Specification: QCF 3 (Desirable).
- Completion / working towards completion of QCF level 3 within the regulatory 2 year requirement (Essential).
- Prior experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential care or childcare setting.
- Sound understanding of child development principles, attachment theory, and trauma informed care approaches.
- Ability to engage with children from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating empathy, patience, and resilience.
