Head of Debt Sale and Advisory
You will be responsible for the overall performance management of the Debt Sale and Advisory team. This role is critical to maintaining Debt Sale and Advisory Service’s position at the forefront of the Debt Sale Services market. As the Head of Debt Sale and Advisory, working with internal teams as well as the debt sale team is critical to success. You will need to work closely with sales to maintain a healthy pipeline alongside the delivery of engagements, which is an absolute necessity to meeting revenue targets.
WhatYou Will Do
- Lead Team Performance: Manage the team’s performance in line with the Debt Services expected revenue targets while mentoring and developing team members.
- Manage Engagements: Lead deliveries from sales engagement, scoping, and initiation to delivery, ensuring successful conclusion for clients and purchasers. Includes managing debt sale and advisory engagements from initial discovery sessions through to proposals, SOWs, and follow-up.
- Drive Product Development: Take ownership of development of debt sale and advisory products, including identifying and implementing improvements to existing propositions and developing new ones. Focus on revival of the Advisory service and rollout of new debt sale propositions to sales teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as main point of contact for sales and other business areas, driving the debt sale and advisory agenda. Manage relationships with purchaser panel, clients, and internal teams such as Legal, Finance, IT, and Compliance.
- Commercial Leadership: Lead on commercial proposals to support debt sale and advisory services and ensure control and direction of Sales and Marketing initiatives.
- Business Leadership: Exceptional business leadership skills to manage the team and related parties, recognize opportunities for performance enhancement, and negotiate optimal performance delivery.
- Communication & Influence: Outstanding communicator capable of fostering open communication across all levels with exceptional influencing skills over executives, senior management, and external parties.
- Operational Excellence: Proven prioritization skills to determine priorities for the team and self, ability to operate independently, and take initiative.
- Team Management: Experience leading teams, projects, and responsibility for their output.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a high degree of rigor, ability to resolve problems and suggest improvements or mitigating actions.
- Advanced
Qualifications:
A Degree level (or equivalent qualification) is preferred. - Project Management: Desired experience includes strong project management skills.
- Negotiation: Demonstrated negotiation skills and influence at all levels.
