Sports Centre Receptionist (Part‑Time) – The University of Nottingham Sport is undergoing an ambitious change and investment programme to support a top‑quality sporting experience.
Salary: £24,084 to £24,701 per annum pro‑rate (subject to performance).
Roles and Responsibilities- Take bookings by telephone or in person.
- Collect and reconcile money received at reception.
- Deal with enquiries, direct users, issue hire equipment.
- Handle membership enquiries and issue membership cards.
- Check validity of users and manage lost property.
- Assist users across students, staff, alumni, and public members.
- Excellent telephone manner and calm professionalism under pressure.
- Previous experience in a customer‑focused role, with cash‑handling/reconciliation experience.
- Desirable experience with computer‑booking systems.
- Pro‑active approach to tasks, excellent communication and customer‑care skills, attention to detail.
