We are looking for a confident and capable Legal Secretary for a wonderful client in Nottingham. This is an established and highly respected national firm. The role sits within the Real Estate Team, who act on a variety of development, finance, investment, and joint venture matters.
In this firm all legal secretaries work closely with a small number of fee earners rather than in a pool, this enables better lines of communication and a more efficient and knowledgeable support system, resulting in better client service. The role has a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days in the office 2 days at home.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate must be confident communicating with a variety of stakeholders and clients, managing diaries and leading on tasks to ensure a high level secretarial support service.
You should have the following skills and experience:
- Previous legal secretarial experience from within a property team
- Ability to draft and produce documents efficiently
- Land Registry Portal knowledge
- First class communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent levels of accuracy.
- Typing and dictation
- Initiative to learn and ability to self-motivate.
- Assisting with billing
- Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines while remaining calm.
- Effective prioritising and multitasking skills, managing your time and tasks suitably.
- Having absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times.
