Working as part of the Boots Transport Office function you will be supporting the BTO and Boots Healthcare Logistics field team. Boots Healthcare Logistics is a function that delivers medication from Boots stores to patients in their own homes and care homes.
You will work as part of the Boots Transport Office team which sits in the logistics function supporting various elements of the operation by way of managing email inboxes and triaging requests, fleet administration, basic support on the routing software and handheld devices. You may also support on projects and initiatives.
Key responsibilities- 1st line support for BTO (Boots Transport Office) and BHL (Boots Healthcare Logistics) with queries and triaging requests.
- Support with fleet administration – insurance, fuel cards, tolls, etc.
- Support with the basics of the routing software used to produce routes.
- Basic troubleshooting for the handheld devices used by drivers within Boots Healthcare Logistics.
- Keeping trackers up to date and providing accurate information to the BHL leadership team.
- Other admin requests.
- Managing two shared inboxes and responding to day‑to‑day requests from within the own team and the BHL field team.
- Providing general support across the team.
- Good administrative and organising skills – good attention to detail.
- Good IT skills and confidence using Word, Excel & PowerPoint; potential to learn Power BI and SQL.
- Effective communicator who understands the importance of building a strong network around the business.
- Able to build great relationships with the team you work with and for; pleased to provide support, enjoys sharing knowledge and supporting other team members.
