An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Coordinator within Stroke in the School of Medicine’s Mental Health and Clinical Neuroscience at the University of Nottingham. The role holder will be based at the Queen’s Medical Centre (QMC), Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, and will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team coordinating large, multi‑centre UK and international stroke clinical trials.
You will be a highly motivated and personable individual who works well as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team, and who using your own initiative. The successful candidate will support the stroke clinical trials team to set up, help manage, and close down completed trials. Support will include, but is not limited to: processing both national and international trial payments, maintenance of trial information in the databases and trial files, and supporting with general clinical trial administration such as arranging essential trial management meetings, taking minutes and coordinating arrangements for conference attendance.
The role holder will also oversee the work of the trial administrators, monitoring workloads and ensuring trial administrative cover is in place.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, manage and close down stroke clinical trials.
- Process national and international trial payments.
- Maintain trial information in databases and files.
- Arrange and coordinate trial management meetings, take minutes, and coordinate conference attendance.
- Oversee trial administrators, monitor workloads, and ensure administrative cover.
