Personal Tax Professional

A reputable accountancy firm, who are a sought-after employer are seeking to hire into their tax team. The role can be hired anywhere from Senior to Manager grade, as the firm are keen to invest in the right individual and support with career growth. You may hold ATT or CTA qualifications, be currently working towards them, or have gained equivalent experience through your career.

This role also offers the chance to mentor and support junior team members by sharing your knowledge and expertise.

Responsibilities could include:

• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients
• Preparing and electronically filing annual tax returns for individuals and partnerships
• Communicating with HMRC
• Directly liaising with clients
• Collaborating with the accounts team to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery
• Preparing P11D forms by coordinating with colleagues to collect relevant data effectively
• Calculating capital gains tax and submitting electronic reports
• Reviewing PAYE tax codes for accuracy
• Providing personal tax advice tailored to client needs
• Conducting tax-related research when required
• Assisting tax professionals throughout the firm as needed
• Participating in the training and development of junior tax team members
