Accountant - Senior To Manager

Overview

An independent accountancy firm commutable from Nottingham and the surrounding areas is seeking to hire into a key Senior Accountant to Manager level position. The firm have been very successful at attracting clients and have a team, so are keen to hire into this vital position. The owner would like to bring in someone with proven accountancy practice experience; an experienced Senior Accountant to Manager level hire would be welcomed, but the firm can consider anyone with solid experience from Semi-Senior level up to Assistant Manager grade.

If this firm can hire someone with sufficient experience, this role will include helping the owner to on-board clients and deal with new client relationships.

• Managing a portfolio of around 200 clients
• Accounts preparation
• Bookkeeping
• VAT returns
• CIS returns
• Liaising with and advising clients on a daily basis
• On-boarding clients and dealing with new client relationships (where applicable)
• Autonomy to service client needs while being supported by a junior accountant

• Qualified: ACCA or ACA preferred
• Also consider part-qualified candidates, or those qualified by experience
• Experience appropriate to a Senior Accountant to Manager level, with potential from Semi-Senior up to Assistant Manager

Working in nicely located offices with parking available for all; the role is largely office based and there is capacity for more people in the office. The firm are keen to hire somebody for the long-term and will offer a strong salary for the right candidate.
