Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a growing and ambitious accountancy firm in their search for an experienced Practice Accountant to join one of their offices in Buckinghamshire.

This opportunity would suit a confident and capable practice professional who enjoys managing their own portfolio, building strong client relationships, and working within a flexible and supportive environment.

• Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
• Prepare Limited Company accounts
• Prepare Self-Assessment tax returns
• Complete VAT returns and oversee payroll
• Work with cloud-based accounting software including Xero, Quick Books, Sage and Free Agent
• Provide proactive support and advice to clients

• Minimum 5 years' experience within an accountancy practice
• Experience managing a client portfolio
• ACA/ACCA qualified preferred, although QBE will be considered
• Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organised, professional and client-focused

• £45,000 - £55,000 salary
• Flexible working hours depending on workload and personal requirements
