DescriptionDPC is looking for a friendly, organised Audit Manager to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, varied role, perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers, leading audits, and supporting both colleagues and clients. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services, helping clients stay compliant, and mentoring more junior team members, all while building your own career in audit and assurance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage audit engagements for a portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Plan audits, assess risks, and develop audit programs tailored to each client.
- Review the work of junior staff, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback.
- Communicate clearly with clients, addressing queries and explaining audit findings.
- Ensure all audits comply with regulatory and professional standards.
- Support the continuous improvement of audit processes and internal controls.
- Assist in building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional services.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards - ACCA / ACA qualified
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
- Ability to manage and upskill junior colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Inflo software is a plus.
- Friendly, approachable, and collaborative team player.
