Accounts Assistant; Temp to perm - Hybrid

Our client is in the engineering and manufacturing industry, and has a medium sized, friendly finance team who all work together to support each other. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop.

• Looking after the purchase ledger, matching and coding invoices
• Looking after the cashbook,
• Reconciliations
• Sales ledger duties, raising sales invoices, producing credit notes, setting up new accounts and credit limits
• Any other ad hoc duties

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational and time-management abilities.

• Hourly rate of £14.00 to £17.00, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday paid per year and all bank holidays.
• Temporary to permanent role
