**** What We’re Looking For
** To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* ** Relevant Qualifications**: PSV, HGV, or light vehicle maintenance and repair (minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent). We’ll also consider candidates with 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience if you’re not formally qualified.
* ** Full UK Driving License**:
Must have a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
* ** PCV License**: A PCV license is preferred, or you must be willing to obtain one.
* ** Medical Fitness**:
Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.
* ** Commitment to Quality**: A passion for delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality maintenance work.
** Your Role
** As a Skilled Engineer, you will:
* Perform
** planned and preventative maintenance**, fault diagnosis, and reactive repairs on a fleet of commercial buses.
* Ensure that all vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs meet
** Arriva and DVSA standards**.
* Assist with
** MOT preparation**, preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks.
* Improve bus reliability through continuous monitoring, maintenance, and repair.
