Hotel Security Guard – 2nd Shift (Part‑time)

Company: Four Points by Sheraton Norwood (Four Points Hotel & Conference Center)
Location: Norwood, MA.

We are looking for a vigilant Hotel Security Guard to protect the property during the 2nd shift (5 pm‑Midnight) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The role ensures safety and deters unauthorized activity around the premises.

• 5 pm‑Midnight Friday, Saturday, Sunday (must work any two of the three days)
• Flexibility for additional shifts such as 12 pm‑6 pm on Saturday or Sunday afternoons.

• Patrol the buildings and grounds to detect any unauthorized activity.
• Respond promptly to emergencies: medical, fire, mechanical, water, and electrical.
• Maintain security of the premises and vehicle gate to deter loss or harm.
• Observe all individuals entering and exiting the premises during business hours.
• Maintain a visitor and vendor log (visitor name, company, license plate, time of entry) for 24‑hour period.
• Answer after‑hours business calls and forward information to relevant personnel.
• Monitor the automated building control system, respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, notify facilities staff.
• Notify ground personnel of weather and road conditions when necessary.

• Minimum 1 yr of security experience (3 yrs preferred). Military or law‑enforcement experience a plus.
• Ability to operate a PC compatible with Windows for building control system.
• Long‑period standing/walking ability.
• Proactive sense of awareness and calm demeanor with irate guests.
• Comfortable with exposure to natural elements and extreme weather.
• Willingness to guard a 5‑foot‑deep pool when required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Lifeguard Certification, First Aid, Choke Saver, and AED Training a plus.

Pay range: $17.23/hr – $21.54/hr (actual salary based on experience and education).
