BOSTON, MA (Field‑based)

What You’ll Do
  • Achieve top‑line sales targets based on division and local market goals & objectives by selling DEWALT, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and PORTER CABLE brands to end‑user customers.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end‑user partners through product & services solutions as well as management of CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs.
  • Teach and mentor the local market team on end‑user development – identifying contacts, understanding the purchasing process, and aligning efforts with local teams, product managers, distributors, and service centers.
  • Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain and use  as a CRM and planning tool; communicate successes and failures in a timely manner to improve processes and future success.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant construction field experience may substitute for higher education.
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for construction supplies with a proven track record delivering results and experience selling to high‑level executives, C‑Suite, and job‑site directors.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem‑solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to blend empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results.
  • Valid driver’s license and physical ability to travel up to 50% within the territory assignment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications:
    Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
